(A prayerbook, bound between featherwood covers, found in the Hanging Castle)
We walk the paths of the Wilds
And we raise our song to the Lady of the Wilderness.
Melora, great river, we follow you to the source.
We seek to rest where the waters are born.
Protector, admit us to your forest shrine.
We seek to be the small seed that becomes the great tree.
Melora, great planet, your wisdom lies hidden in everything below and above.
Like a wellspring, let it come to us and guide us on our journeys.
When we cannot see the sky, when we cannot taste the air we yearn to see you.
Stay by our sides in times of dark.
Melora, great mountain, your peaks conquer all.
Let us see farther, through your eyes, to protect your gifts.
In the wilderness, let us find beauty and rest.
In your lonely fastness, let us abide.
Melora, great circle, of life and dust, gift and loss, you surround us.
Blinded by your shining light, we close our eyes and walk the circle in your radiance.
We walk the paths of the Wilds
And we raise our song to the Lady of the Wilderness.

Warning Note
Magically recorded on a wall, in the grotto beneath the Duchal Castle in Hoke Lithan, outside the entrance to a magical catacomb:
To avoid contrary claim and avoid all misattribution,
Let none doubt
That I, Sta Sokeus, Lead Expeditionary of the Lyceum Arcana
Have plundered this site
Recovering Great Artifacts and Gold for the Lyceum,
Slaying two Fierce Dragons,
Entering the Hanging Castle,
And living to tell of it.
Lesser magicians, take heed before entering this place:
On your own head be your fate.
Witness the sign and seal of Sta Sokeus
